What he is trying to say that You are more important than you are as a basketball player . Like yee being a basketball player is important but youll never know if someone going to take your spot . But in reality YOU are more important . Just focus on you , yourself because at the end of the day all what you really need is yourself . Eventually there some one will take your spot . That doesnt mean that you suck theres better people out there , there always be someone who better right behind you , so just take care and be proud of what you have because you never know when is it going to be take away from you . But no matter what all that really matters is yourself .
